Bob Olmstead is Omniweld Integrated Solutions' welding technologist residing in Edmonton, Alberta and is responsible for welding services in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Thunder Bay region of Ontario. He graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta in 1984, from the Welding Engineering Technology program. His primary duties inside Omniweld include welding-related training, welding cost analysis, Omniweldâ„¢ Performance, welding process monitoring, CAPâ„¢ Optima, welding projects and providing technical assistance to clients.

Bob joined Air Liquide Canada in 1986 as a sales representative in Edmonton, Alberta. Since 1986, he has held a number of roles from sales representative to branch manager to team leader. He has held these roles in Edmonton, Cranbrook, B.C. and most recently, Fort McMurray, Alberta. In addition, he has provided customers with technical expertise ranging from process support (GMAW, FCAW and GTAW), troubleshooting client-specific projects and gas solutions.
