Philippe Neault is a Welding Engineer for Omniweld working  in Montreal, Quebec. He leads some welding projects and works with the application of the codes and standards CSA / AWS and ASME for the welding industry. He is also in charge of the Laser applicationsw forWelding&Cutting in the Advanced Fabrication Technologies at Air Liquide. Philippe graduated in Engineering from (ETS) ‘l’Ecole de Technologie Superieure’ in Montreal (2006). He also graduated from ‘Cegep de Trois-Rivieres’ as a Welding Technologist in 2002.

Philippe joined the Omniweld team full time in June 2006. While working towards his degree, he was part of the Air Liquide team in Canada to perform a variety of projects. He also worked in the R & D field in metallurgy for TWI Ltd. (The Welding Institute) located in Cambridge, England. Philippe was the recipient   in 2004 and 2005 of the Air Liquide scholarship for the development of the Canadian welding industry.

He also received in 2002 from the Canandian Welding Bureau (CWB), a national scholarship. Raised in contact with a family owned metal fabrication company, he has been involved in the welding field since his young age.
